Project Description
EMIL EGGER AG is one of the most innovative logistics companies in Switzerland and is consistently driving forward the electrification of its fleet. With numerous electric trucks already in daily operation and additional vehicles in planning, the company is setting a strong example for sustainable transport solutions.
Whether on fully electric construction sites or in emission-free distribution transport — EMIL EGGER demonstrates impressively how modern logistics and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand. Powerful electric trucks with battery capacities of up to 600 kWh and charging capacities of up to approximately 400 kW enable ranges of several hundred kilometers in daily operation.
For the growing electric truck fleet, MIBAG AG was able to provide the appropriate infrastructure: A total of 3 LineDrop systems serve as overhead cable management solutions, ensuring safe and efficient charging infrastructure within the depot. Especially in the field of heavy commercial vehicles, this solution offers clear advantages in handling and daily operation.

Special Features
The existing building infrastructure as well as the customer’s requirements regarding clearance height led us to develop a special version of the LineDrop system.
The installation height was reduced from approximately 900 mm to around 600 mm.
Due to this compact design, the recommended minimum bending radius of the cable is partially undershot and therefore does not fully comply with the applicable standards. At the customer’s explicit request, this version was nevertheless implemented.
